They may not remember this, but it's one of my favorite memories. In 11th Grade American History (7th period), Bill Arpin sat behind me, Jim Jordan was to his left and Chris sat behind Bill. One day we were talking and discussing what we wanted be "when we grew up". I'd always wanted to be a secretary so between the three of them, they said whoever needed a secretary first would hire me. I had the honor and privilege of not only working for Chris after he earned his juris doctorate (1997-2004), but also of him being one of my dearest friends.

I had no idea Chris was gone. I'd like to know what happened, if anyone is willing to share.

My most vivid memory of Chris in high school is the day he brought his coin collection to school and the pride with which he talked about it. I also fondly remember running into him on the UALR campus from time to time. During an election year, Chris would be proudly wearing his button for whatever Republican candidate there was, and I would just as proudly be wearing my Democratic candidate's button or t-shirt. We had many laughs about our political differences!

Chris was a very special person who had a passion for life that so many others lack. I hate to hear he's gone.

I knew Chris in high school and can still remember his chuckle and laughter. Later in life, he and I cam face to face again when he started working for the Saline County Prosecutors Office as a Deputy Prosecutor. We often seen one another through work as I was a Patrol Supervisor for the Sheriff's Department ..he was always a hard worker and believed in fighting for vicim's when they they couldn't...he lost his battle with cancer..You will be missed my friend!....
