L. LaShawn Stroupe, age 45, of Cabot, passed away the morning of Friday, December 2, 2016. She was born July 15, 1971 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Lucian Tisdale and Novella Cheek. She graduated from Sheridan High School. LaShawn really enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to laugh, and when she laughed or smiled, she would light up a room. She was indescribably beautiful and yet completely unaware and that made her all that more beautiful. Leah LaShawn Stroupe was the light of many people’s lives and she will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by one sister, Lori Wallace.

She is survived by her beloved husband; Jason Stroupe; Two daughters, Madison (16) and Natalie (13) Stocks, who she loved and cherished more than anything in the world; siblings; Greg Tisdale, Randy Wallace, Lisa Wallace, Rick Wallace and Harold Ray Tisdale.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society.
