Hollis Nutt

Ronald Hollis Nutt, 49, of Sheridan Arkansas spent his first BEST day in heaven on May 11th, 2020. Hollis was a lot of things to many people, but he was a devoted Dad to his two kids. His kids were his everything and he never missed a sporting event, cheer competition, or a fishing tournament weigh in. He was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan, AR. Hollis was the former president of the Rotary Club, a member at the Sheridan Country Club, a member at JJ Hunting Club, and the co-chair of the Timberfest Barbeque Competition, which was his most anticipated weekend of the year. He loved to golf, spend weekends down at JJ Camp, and be in the great outdoors. He was a business owner and worked alongside his business partner and best friend Jake Easley at Affordable Insurance Solutions. Hollis was the ultimate friend to everyone and would have given the shirt off his back to anyone who needed a helping hand. He was a loving son and loved living right around the corner from his parents.

Hollis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Louise Barnes, Hubert and Sybil Nutt and Billie Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter, Camden Nutt and husband Austin, son, Fletcher Nutt; brother, Bryan Nutt and wife Julie; parents, Ronnie and Phyllis Barnes Nutt; best friend, Scott Boatright, all of Sheridan and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A special thanks to his best friend, Ryan McIver, for holding his hand when he met God.
