Tracy Janette Knighten, age 40 of Sheridan Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock, Arkansas with her loving family by her side. She was born August 20, 1971 to Carolyn (Brown) Jensen. She was a 1989 graduate of Sheridan High School and continued her education receiving an associate degree in Computer Programming from Southern Technical College in Little Rock. Tracy was a Pre-School Teacher for ten years at Keep and Teach Daycare. She married the love of her life Roland Knighten on April 17, 1995 in Mayflower, Arkansas. Tracy was a member of Moore’s Chapel Methodist Church near Sheridan, Arkansas. She is survived by her loving husband, Roland Knighten of Sheridan, Arkansas; one son, Caleb Knighten of Sheridan, Arkansas; two daughters, Ashley Fowler of Keo, Arkansas, and Grace Knighten of Sheridan, Arkansas; her mother, Carolyn Jensen of Sheridan, Arkansas; one brother, Tim (Brandy) Jensen of Rison, Arkansas; father and mother in law, Homer (Patricia) Knighten of Sheridan, Arkansas; grandparent in laws, Eva Knighten, and Betty Paty both of Sheridan, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other extended family members and many friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Friday, June 1, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan, Arkansas Interment will follow the service in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery near Sheridan, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Moore’s Chapel Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
