I remember Stephanie Wilburn or Kilburn or something doing her "thing" in the talent contest and Brian Pruett screaming at her like she was the Beatles or something. She ate it up and finished by saying "Get it while it's hot!" The teachers were all standing near us and trying to hide their laughter. I think she jumped off the stage into the aisle too.
Another great Pruettism was when he "competed" in the pep rally for his class and did those half-ass cart wheels while giving the bird to the crowd. How he didn't get in trouble for those things, I'll never know.
I also remember Ms. Cook making everyone spit their gum out in her hand between classes. She could spot it a mile away.
I remember leap frogging around the cat walk in the old gym at the middle school during football practice on a rainy day. I think we were in trouble for something. I hated to see them tear that place down! |
